Chicken / Turkey BBQ

The BBQ starts at 9 am, by the Poultry area, for kids to get the grills. The grills get lit at 9:30. The BBQ Demonstrations start at 1pm in the Youth Building. Grills, Charcoal and meat are provided for the Youth.

Egg Preparation

The Egg Preparation contest starts at 8 am , with Kitchen Prep, Demo times are assigned, according to the recipes provided,and time needed to prepare dish in the Preparation kitchen.

All 3 contests are pre entry only.

Fashion Revue Schedule 2019
**Please note - Fashion Revue will ONLY be held on Sunday August 25th this year. Youth will still be able to mannequin model during the standard county rotations if they wish.


Outdoor Cooking and WHEP

These are two new competitions/contests available for your ages 10 and up to participate in.

Contest date is Wednesday August 28th.

Outdoor Cooking will Start at 10am with the tasting at 12pm Sharp

WHEP (Wildlife Habitat Education PRogram) will start at 2pm

Outdoor Cooking WHEP-xpedition

 


The New York State 4-H Membership year runs from October 1 to September 30. 

  • Youth who are five years of age, on or before January 1st of the current club year, may participate as a 4-H Cloverbud** member.

  • Youth who are eight years of age, on or before January 1st of the current club year, may participate as a full 4-H member.

  • Youth who turn nineteen years of age, on or before January 1st of the current club year, may not participate as a 4-H member. Persons with an intellectual disability may participate fully in 4-H programs as long as their developmental age is considered to fall between five and nineteen years of age.

** Cloverbuds are not eligible to participate in Animal Programs at the State Fair and are not eligible for premiums.
