2025 4-H Livestock Summit

cll243

I am excited to announce that the 2025 NYS 4-H Livestock Summit will be held again this year! We have an incredible lineup of presenters who are eager to share their expertise with our NYS Animal Science Youth.

The sessions will take place every Wednesday, starting January 29th and running through February 26th from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m..  Each session will include a fun Kahoot game to review the evening’s presentation.

The flyer and registration link will also be available on the NYS 4-H Dairy and Livestock Facebook page. I plan to record each session and will upload them to the NYS 4-H YouTube page. If you missed last year’s presentations, they are available on the YouTube page for you to use and share with your youth.

Several counties have asked about receiving the names of youth who register so they can count the program toward their educational requirements. I am happy to share the names of those who have registered per county, but I will not be able to provide a full list of participants. If you would like to count this towards your educational requirements, I suggest asking families to take a screenshot of the Zoom session in progress, have the youth fill out a brief questionnaire about what they learned, or use another creative method to track participation.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Brian Aukema at bja14@cornell.edu.
