We’re excited to invite you and youth from your community back to Cornell for in-person 4-H Career Explorations!
This year’s event will be June 28 – 30. Program and registration information is available on the event website. There are also printable forms in English and Spanish.
Online registration will open on April 18 and close on June 1 or when programs fill up. There will be two program tracks – University U open to youth entering grades 8 and up and Focus for Teens open to youth entering grades 10 and up. Registration costs $350 per youth and $350 per chaperone and some scholarships will be available (scholarship applications are due by May 1). Registration includes program activities, dorm accommodations, and meals from Tuesday dinner through Thursday breakfast.
If you’ve had the chance to join us in person at Career Explorations in the past, many things will feel familiar. Here are some of the highlights of new things to expect:
Youth and adults will all have single rooms in the dorm. Because of this, we will have a smaller overall maximum number of people who can sign up.
University U is now open to all youth entering grades 8 and up
Lunch on Thursday is not included in registration though you can purchase meals in the dining hall on the registration form
The NYS 4-H Code of Conduct and Permission Slip is now an online form
We will follow Cornell University’s COVID-19 guidance for visitors and events and the Children and Youth Safety Policy
