Exhibitors may enter their Animal Science Department projects in the NY State Fair through August 12, 2022.

The following outlines the procedures for youth participating in Animal Science shows at the New York State Fair.

ANIMAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT NYSF ENTRY PROCEDURE
Deadline, Friday August 12 @ 5:00 pm

All entries for the New York State Fair Animal Science Department 51 will be made by exhibitors at https://nysfys.fairwire.com/ and must receive an endorsement from the appropriate authorized representatives.

Exhibitors must receive the endorsement of a county 4-H Educator, FFA Advisor or other breed organization as permitted by the specific department. Any entry that does not receive endorsement will be scratched.

Exhibitors must meet all additional requirements set by that organization (i.e., membership, ownership, specific class requirements, etc.) as well as any animal health and registration requirements specified by their department superintendents. Be sure to check the premium book for the requirements of each species to ensure all required documentation is submitted.

Exhibitors are responsible for emailing their entry receipt, along with any additional required paperwork/information to their County Educator and Department Superintendent. A directory of these contacts is located here.
