"It encouraged me to start learning more about what I want to do with my future and the interests that could influence it," a 4-H Career Explorations alum said about their experience.

We aim to expand opportunity and spark future possibilities for New York State youth as we connect with each other and Cornell University at 4-H Career Explorations. Your leadership is an important part of creating this experience!

We’re looking for Educators and Teen Leaders to join the Career Explorations Planning Team. You can learn more about specific roles for adults and youth on the Career Explorations page information for staff section.

We hope to have at least 20 Focus Assistants join the planning team this year. Please visit the 4-H Career Explorations website for the FA job description and application. Applications are due February 27, 2023. Please share this opportunity with teens in your county! We’ll also share this opportunity with youth and families through 4-H Online.

If you have questions, please email Alexa.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
