Volunteers bring our 4-H mission and vision to life! They welcome youth into spaces where they are encouraged to explore and follow their sparks, experience developmental relationships and are actively engaged in the process. How can we create the same experience for our volunteers? Join in as we explore 4-H Volunteer Training this month, as part of the NYS 4-H Volunteer Guild. We'll explore what's currently available for orienting and training volunteers, what's in the works, and collect your input on the developing needs in your local programs. We'll also touch on the some the current trends in volunteerism, as well as, the identified needs from NYS 4-H volunteers collected in the 2020 NE Region Volunteer Impact Survey. We hope you can be there in person, but a recording and input survey will be made available after the session.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
The NYS 4-H Volunteer Guild will continue on the 1st Friday of each month, to connect educators around the topic of volunteers. Consider blocking your calendar to explore the current needs, systems, tools, and best practices with us. Connect with Kelly Campbell (kmc86@cornell.edu) for more information.
