New Staff Orientation Experience

Courtney Livecchi

February is the launch of two added elements of the New Staff Orientation Experience which enhances New Staff Orientation Online. This three-part professional development experience is geared toward the first two years with CCE, to help staff succeed and grow! We know there are likely folks that have been with us for more than two years with interest- all are invited! Also, while February is the kick-off, staff are welcome to join at any point and at the frequency that makes the most sense. We hope new staff will take advantage of the full experience created in our belief that when staff are supported and connected to colleagues, campus, and our organizational vision, they will be empowered to contribute to the CCE system, bringing innovation and energy. Join us in for the Gathering, Diving Deeper and the application to your local association and work at our Drop-In Session each month.

Gather and connect with new staff across the state via Zoom the 1st Wednesday of the month from 10-11:30am, to explore a new topic each month.

Connect with the New Staff Orientation Online, where you can explore resources at your own pace and make connections to your local association.

After you’ve had a chance to explore, gather back with the team on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10-11:30am, bring your discoveries and questions to continue learning together.

Visit the CCE Staff Site for registration and find the dates and times for each of the live sessions under Learning Opportunities on the home page of the staff site. Please reach out with any questions. Looking forward to gathering this month introducing you to the team and exploring The Story of Extension- Connecting You With Our Mission, Vision and Values!

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
