You're invited to a webinar series hosted by OSU Extension youth programs: Oregon Youth In Focus — a six-part series exploring transformative approaches to youth thriving and readiness across Oregon. While the practitioner focus is Oregon specific the research is applicable across the nation, and all are welcome!
Join us for the first session on April 10 at 10:00 a.m. PT, where we’ll explore the science behind thriving and readiness and examine how these concepts are shaping youth development efforts in Oregon communities.
Our featured panel includes:
Dr. Mary Arnold, Director of Youth Development Research and Practice, National 4-H Council
Karen Pittman, Founding Partner, Knowledge to Power Catalysts
Stephanie Malia Krauss, Author and Principal, First Quarter Strategies
Belle Cantor, Senior Program Officer of Education, Oregon Community Foundation
This session will introduce the 4-H Thriving Model and the Beyond Ready Initiative, offering insight into how these frameworks are being put into action in both rural and urban settings across Oregon.
