4-H PYD Academy is seeking engaging presenters for its Immersion Days in the upcoming series, From Cloverbuds to Beyond Ready—Meeting Developmental Needs for Youth Retention!

Immersion Day Topics
Each immersion will highlight programs focused on a specific theme:
Laying the Foundations for Readiness in Younger Youth (March 5th): This day will highlight innovative programs across 4-H that lay the groundwork for supporting youth as they discover and grow their sparks! How are your programs serving younger 4-H members (Cloverbuds and Juniors)? In what ways are you equipping them for readiness from the start? We encourage presentations that demonstrate creative approaches to exploring or deepening sparks and foundational skills that prepare youth for future success.
Supporting Early Adolescents During a Critical Transition (April 2nd): The second day emphasizes programs designed to address the unique needs of middle school youth (early adolescence). Share your experiences with fostering resilience, addressing social and emotional development, managing stress, and nurturing relationships among peers. We also welcome presentations on trauma-informed care, adolescent brain development, equity in practice, or retention strategies that sustain youth engagement during this transitional stage.
Keeping Teens Engaged and Beyond Ready (May 7th): Are you passionate about meeting the developmental needs of teenagers and sustaining their involvement in 4-H? The final day is your opportunity to showcase programs supporting career and college readiness, identity development, purpose-building, and strategies for transitioning into young adulthood. Programs featuring dynamic engagement strategies or offering plans for effectively supporting and serving teens are also a perfect fit for this session!
