Reminder: State Fair Listening Sessions

nys4h4

All are invited to join one or more of the following listening sessions so that we can collect feedback about the 2022 NY State Fair.

It is important that we hear from as many folks as possible so that we can begin planning for 4-H participation at the 2023 NYSF. These sessions are open to anyone who participated in the 2022 NYS Fair so that we can collect much-needed feedback about things that were good and/or challenging. Below are three time slot options to participate in this structured conversation. You may participate in as many sessions as you like.

Monday, October 17th at 10 am

Monday, October 17th at 1:30 pm

Tuesday, October 18th at 3 pm

We recognize that there are ubiquitous topics that need to be addressed with state fair administration including parking and admission passes, so we will not be allocating much of our discussion time to these items. However, consider sharing any and all other parts of your fair experience, both positive and negative so that we can get a full range of perspectives on the event.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
