Youth Development Survey

aml84

Are you doing anti-racism, DEI, media work with your youth? Would you take a couple of minutes to share with us? Suffolk County 4-H received a Public Initiative Grant to build a network of youth development programs that are featuring youth voices in civic engagement and anti-racism work. We are hoping to create a statewide resource to find ways to amplify our youth voices and connect youth in a bigger way. If you are doing ANY programming--club, in school, after school, camp or work with an agency that is doing work, we want to hear about and add it to our network. Our goal is to have a teen summit some day and larger connections for all of our youth.

We have gotten very few responses and would love more!

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' leadership. Learn more
